Hello Everyone,

It has been a few weeks since my last post and as you can see the studio is complete, well almost! A few more finishing touches and pieces of equipment to go. I am excited to have a permanent location that will provide a positive space to teach others.

My friend Kate has provided some beautiful oriental art work for the walls. I really love the Zen feel. Yesterday, the giant mirror I have been waiting for was installed. After a minor mishap while placing the ten by seven foot glass, it is very well attached. I was relieved to see it was still hanging when I walked in this morning!

I have been very busy over the past weeks and worked to take a little time out for myself. My parents and a good friend made the long drive to Fernie for a visit. It was a great week to revel in the sun and float down the river in the late afternoon. I enjoyed our visit together and it was nice to make time to be still with them.
